The Genesis Children (1972)
An Edward D. Wood-class masterpiece of a boy movie.

Die Geschichte vom weinenden Kamel (2003)

Ginostra (2002)
Well, I bothered. Again, a plodding movie desperately in need of editing. Or a shower scene.

La Gloire de mon père (1990)

Go Toward the Light (1988)
A beautiful, heart-wrenching story. A very fine performance by Joshua Harris.

Das goldene Ding (1972)
A visual feast.

Good Boy! (2003)
No, its not Citizen Kane but it is a pretty charming, almost predictable story, and it has Liam Aiken. I loved the lines for the dogs provided by some very good and funny actors.

Goodbye, Mr. Chips (2002)
A good production and quite moving.

Goodnight, Mister Tom (1998)
John Thaw and Nick Robinson are wonderful. Most of the movie is very moving but I found some key moments in the story hard to swallow. For example, the facile manner in which the old man convinces the Home Office rep. toward the end. I got the sense that the last 1/3 of the movie was hurriedly thrown together. And I do hate to critcize a movie with so many appealing moments.

The Goonies (1985)
Ke Quan had a most adorable presence in his few movies.
"I'm going to set some booty twaps."
"You mean, booby traps."
"That's what I said! Booty twaps!"
My Movie Rating:

Le Grand chemin (1987)
My Movie Rating:

Great Expectations (1946)
One of my all-time favorites. I have never seen another movie which so closely captures the tone and flavor of Dickens' story and characters.
My Movie Rating:

Great Expectations (1997)
Jeremy Kissner is so beautiful in this.
My Movie Rating:

Great Expectations (1999)
Loved Gabriel Thompson; production as a whole is not very noteworthy.
