I Am David (2003)
I enjoyed the movie a lot. Now I am about to order the book to see how much I missed. Ben Tibber is a lovable young actor.

Un Indien dans la ville (1994)
DVD where are you?! The VHS copy I saw was dubbed in English but it was well done.

Insidious (2010)

Invaders from Mars (1953)
Really difficult to rate this movie which is widely regarded as 'camp' and has some really hilarious plot holes. But the art direction is so compelling, sometimes beautiful. Overall, has a powerful dreamlike quality that is impossible for me to nail down.

Jeux d'enfants (2003)
A tragic attempt to prolong childhood love, with all its rules of engagement. That's one way of looking at this one but no one line summary will truly capture it. The film has so many elements, bizarre, brutal, funny and sweet that I had a hard time deciding whether I liked it! It's Brilliantly worked out and the odd love story finally won me over. I only wished I were fluent in French to get the full benefit of the rapid-fire dialogue and narration.
My Movie Rating:

Jeux interdits (1952)

Joshua's Heart (1990)

Just Ask For Diamond (1988)
Colin Dale is a handsome and charming little actor. This is a clever lash-up of old detective film noire movies done in a very disarming way.
