Synopsis
Four children have to fend for themselves when their disturbed mother abandons them in a carpark. They decide to head off in search of an aunt that they think they may be related to. Setting off on foot they travel for days sleeping where they can and scrounging for food. Eventually they locate their grandmother, a loner who is reluctant to take them in.

10 / 10 Surprisingly good, well-acted adaptation of the classic Cynthia Voigt novel.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 9 / 10 Trever is the younger Brother of Austin O'Brien (Last Action Hero)! and he did very well in this memorable movie!
William was very cute, I watch this movie every time it's on tv.

10 / 10 Three children are abandoned by their mother, so they set out on their own and eventually find their grandmother (played wonderfully by Anne Bancroft). Their grandmother was cold toward them at first, but in time she began to enjoy their company. This is a great movie. I watched it because I was a huge fan of William Greenblatt, who played Sammy in the movie. All three children were nominated for a Young Artist Award (shared) for Best Performance in a TV Movie--Young Ensemble Award. I highly recommend this movie.
