Big (1988)

Tom Hanks is spectacular in this movie, as is his friend; the movie is certainly among American classics.

Blöde Mütze! (2007)

Johann is a kid well-worth watching! Sweet, innocent... and just plain beautiful. It is a pretty wonderful story of friendship, trust and adolescence, too!

El Bola (2000)

This is a very powerful movie, with very believable characters... it doesn't show much of the brutality, but I suppose real life is like that too. The most graphic battering scene had me in tears, but I'm soft like that.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008)

This is a very powerful story which follows the book quite well. Asa does a beautiful, fantastic job! I sure hope we get to see him in some more films before long!

I have to disagree with Nicolas... and agree with the others. This was a supurb movie. It'd have been nice had it centered even MORE on the anglic boys, but...

I *REALLY* liked the music and thought this movie was great. As mentioned by others, it could have been a little more emotionally involved, but it was touching nonetheless. If you like boy choirs, you'll not be disappointed by this.
