Man of the House (1995)
My Movie Rating:The Man Without a Face (1993)
Maximum Overdrive (1986)
Wow! I love this movie, even though its twee, and at times utterly awful.
My Movie Rating:Mercury Rising (1998)
Miko is fantastic - utterly believable. It's a pity Bruce Willis' character was the usual angst-ridden homicidal manic depressive - albeit without the grimy vest this time.
My Movie Rating:Milk Money (1994)
An appealing movie, though very short on the adult acting quality department. Malcolm McDowell, star of such classics as If & Clockwork Orange, reduced to a bit part as a cheesy mobster delivering stereotypical Cockney dialogue....why, Malcolm, why?
Apart from that, good performances by the boys :)
My Movie Rating:Millions (2004)
A simply beautiful film.
Both boys were fantastic, and it was brilliantly directed.
Mission Top Secret (1993-1995)
My Movie Rating:Motorama (1991)
A very odd movie - I can't work out whether it's meant to be a kids movie or not. Some of the content definitely suggests not, but it doesn't strike me as a movie intended for adults either.
But I absolutely love it. A one-boy road movie. Jordan Christopher Michael is superb. It's bizarre, but I just love the fact that no-one notices he's a child. He actually has to explain to the gas station attendant that he's underage.
Mr. Nanny (1993)
I'm afraid I don't have the words to describe how irretrievably horrible this movie is...
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
Very much a Robin Williams movie. But, as much as that is the case, and as much as I dislike his humour, fairly watchable.
My Movie Rating:My Dog Skip (2000)
My Movie Rating:My Family (2000-2011)
My Movie Rating:Nanny McPhee (2005)
Very entertaining family comedy. Has the happy ending (sorry for the spoiler!), and moral lessons concomitant with films of this genre, but these aren't entirely at the expense of plot, jokes and charm on the part of the child actors, particularly Master Sangster :-)
My Movie Rating:The Navigator: A Medieval Odyssey (1988)
A film set in Cumbria, in the UK, in the 14th century, made by a film company from New Zealand, and starring a cast from New Zealand. A fantastic film, which I probably would have missed had I not mistaken it at the cinema for the film starring Joey Cramer (who, incidentally is for some reason referred to as "fat" (?) in one of the reviews above by someone who thought others would make the same mistake).
Quite apart from the superb Scots-border accents, the film is a captivating concept which I think would appeal to the dreamer and explorer in most of us. I managed to find plenty of reviews, but no screen shots, as yet, and I've yet to scour the credits to see where it was filmed
My Movie Rating:The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter (1990)
Watchable enough, and Johnathon Brandis gives an ok performance, but it doesn't quite have the magical sparkle of the first.
My Movie Rating:The NeverEnding Story (1984)
A true classic.
New Nightmare (1994)
My Movie Rating:North (1994)
Elijah at his light hearted best.
My Movie Rating:Nuovo cinema Paradiso (1988)
A gorgeous film.
My Movie Rating:Ocean Girl (1994-1997)
