El Topo (1970)

A bizarre almost grotesque film that is clearly a product of its time. Watch the first thirty minutes as a short film and skip the rest. I guess I mostly didn't "get it" and would have never watched this kind of film without the beginning.

Tsatsiki - Vänner för alltid (2001)

A great sequel. L The overall story was weaker than the 1st movie and more serious. But visually it was more beautiful. Samuel Haus performance was great again. It also left me deeply nostalgic for a time now 25 years gone.

Världens bästa Karlsson (1974)

I love it. Just watched it for the first time since I was a kid decades ago and was amazed how familiar everything felt. Amazing performance by Lars Söderdahl and Mats Wikström.

The whole movie is utterly charming and funny. Easily a must watch.

A lighthearted and fun movie. You should watch it in Finnish if you can. Kuura Rossi is a charming lead.

I liked it better than the 1977 version. Nick Romeo Reimann is always a pleasure to watch.

The weakest one of the trilogy. Still very watchable.

Very nice finish to the trilogy and a great performance by Nick Romeo Reimann at his peak, who has always been a favorite of mine. Some beautiful shots too.

Why cast a girl for the role of Kurt? That was just odd.

Vozvrashcheniye (2003)

A very unusual, extremely beautiful and very Russian film. Excellent performance by the to boy actors.

I didn't think that it was too slow paced.

It lefts you with a feeling of not fullig getting it. But then again Russia itself is often impossible to get.
