Poil de carotte (1932)
My Movie Rating:Prince Brat and the Whipping Boy (1994)
Nic Knight would be more suited for community theatre.
My Movie Rating:A Quiet Place (2018)
This was a well-made horror film. It must have been a challenge for the cast given how much of it was non-verbal.
My Movie Rating:Ratcatcher (1999)
My Movie Rating:Real Steel (2011)
My Movie Rating:The Rifleman (1958-1963)
My Movie Rating:Road to Happiness (1942)
My Movie Rating:The Rocking Horse Winner (1949)
Unique and thrilling film. The relationship between Davies' character and Mills' character is interesting to follow. Another top notch production from The Rank Organization.
My Movie Rating:The Ryan White Story (1989)
it's TV movie quality, but the educational aspect and strong performances from Haas and Sarah Jessica Parker elevate my rating a star. I like that they acknowledge the homophobic dynamics of the debate. should be shown in school health classes
The Search (1948)
A great film dealing with experiences of postwar trauma and the attempt to rebuild lives in the aftermath of conflict. Ivan Jandl was a worthy choice for the Juvenile Oscar
My Movie Rating:Second Best (1994)
Silver Spoons (1982-1987)
My Movie Rating:Solarbabies (1986)
Strange, but very entertaining! The dystopian elements are a little cliche but there are a few intersting twists. Lukas gives a great performance and the other "Solarbabies" do a pretty good job. If you are a Lukas Haas fan you won't want to pass on this one!
My Movie Rating:Son of Rambow (2007)
My Movie Rating:The Spanish Gardener (1956)
This was a good one. The synopsis is a little unfair to the father, he doesn't view his son as "property" he feels jealous and worries the boy's love for the gardener will weaken their relationship.
My Movie Rating:St. Vincent (2014)
It's by-the-numbers, but enjoyable with good performances from the leads and some interesting supporting characters.
My Movie Rating:Stand by Me (1986)
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
It was an enjoyable watch, but Jake needed some more training with his acting.
My Movie Rating:Stars in My Crown (1950)
My Movie Rating:Storm Boy (1976)
Beautiful and emotional film. Highly recommended.
