Peter Pan (2003)
I just loved it. Jeremy Sumpter is perfect in looks and also in conveying that peculiar spirit of Peter Pan as was intended: loveable, energetic, misanthropic, cruel and quick to have deadly thoughts even about friends.
I fell in love with just about all the other boys. A perfect mix and perfect interplay between them. Why couldn't Spielberg have found a bunch like these for his 'Hook'? Rachel Hurd-Wood is radiant and I can't imagine a more perfect Wendy.
And why the heck were my eyes wet even at the scenes that were supposed to be funny?

Peter Pan (1924)

A Plumm Summer (2007)
I don't know, I just liked it. The actors did a good job and I liked the backyard, small town aura in a disarmingly simple movie.

Promises (2000)
A moving and extremely informative look at the Arab-Israeli conflict from the kids points of view. This is a real education for those like me who have had only the sketchiest idea of the geography and history involved.
