Captains Courageous (1937)

I haven't seen this in forever, but I remember loving it...

La corsa dell'innocente (1992)

Much like the decade newer "Io non ho paura," this film deals with some heavy social issues and their impact on innocent kids. Both are well-worth watching; both have very capable and attractive lead roles and supporting cast. It's only just short of a "MUST WATCH" - so go watch it!

Fireflies in the Garden (2008)

I'm torn between giving this a 7 or an 8, but Chase and Cayden did such wonderful jobs, and it was a very touching movie... so

Five Children and It (2004)

Much better than I might have imagined... although with Freddie in it, that's a pretty high standard to be sure! Freddie was charming as ever, and the story was worthwhile, too. I can't compare it to the book, but maybe I'll try to rectify that soon (although I still won't compare them, because that's just generally not advisable)!

Hævnen (2010)

Extremely good performances by both boys; I was completely absorbed and on edge for much of the movie. It could have delved more into their relationship... so I was a little disappointed to learn it's not from a book so I can't really get to know them better.
