In Oranje (2004)
Wonderful story, beautifully produced, beautiful boy. There is even a strong dose of 'Field of Dreams.'
My Movie Rating:

Io non ho paura (2002)
Touching as well as suspenseful, beautiful kids and beautiful photography. But really, how could a whole village. . . ? Better not.

Jet Boy (2001)
wonderful.

Jób lázadása (1983)
charming and then devastating.

Jurassic Park (1993)
Boy,those dinosaurs sure look fake. Just a joke, folks! They're amazing. Joseph Mazello is so darn cute.

Kes (1969)
Finally got to see this wonderful film. Young Bradley is a very appealing and persuasive actor - and a very brave one. I only wish I could tune these American ears to better catch some of those strong regional English dialects!

Killer Kid (1994)
A very fine movie that deserves a less sensational title.

Kruimeltje (1999)
Are we sure Dickens didn't write this? I'm kidding.
Ruud Feltkamp is extremely charming and, of course, has us rooting for him all the way. His face constantly reminded me of Pelle Hvenegaard.
My Movie Rating:

L.I.E. (2001)
Very honest and well-made except for..what else? that throwaway of an ending! Paul Franklin Dano does one of the best jobs of acting I've ever seen.

Lassie Come Home (1943)
My Movie Rating:

Let Me In (2010)
Regardless of whether a remake was necessary, this is a very worthy film. Its hard for me to imagine other English speaking young actors who could have done a better job than Kodi and Chloe. Very nicely paced and well directed. It was also good to see Richard Jenkins, one of my favorite actors.
My Movie Rating:

Limbo (2014)
Imagine a director who scouts out a small Argentina town and rounds up a bunch of appealing kids to act in his movies.
Ivan Noel has pioneered the use of high quality digital cameras, volunteer crews, and a whole slew of seat-of-the-pants production values and effects to create high quality feature films with peanut sized budgets.
This film is amazing. And Lauro Veron with his sinister on-screen acting is adorable off-screen.
My Movie Rating:

Little Fugitive (1953)
One of the very first notable independent movies - or at least my first encounter with one.
My Movie Rating:

Little Lord Fauntleroy (1995)
Believe it or not, this is my introduction to this story. I thoroughly enjoyed the charm of this unabashed, feel-good presentation. Very nicely produced.
I will now, finally, try to check out the Freddie Bartholomew movie and I would love to somehow get hold of the Russian version!
My Movie Rating:

Little Manhattan (2005)
Very engaging story, with a screenplay that avoids the cliches of puppy love. It is easy to see why Josh Hutcherson remains busy. He has true acting skill.
My Movie Rating:

Living with the Dead (2002)
An excellent movie, hardly a cliche' in sight, with many heart-tugging moments. The resolution at the end of the crime/supernatural drama is satisfying and not at all what you expect.
