3 / 10 Quite good semi-autobiographical film that owes a lot to The 400 Blows. Great performance from Noah Fleiss.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 Noah was a vetran actor by the time he appeared in this film! he was outstanding! and very cute I might add!:) a gripping story of a boy on the verge of manhood, trying to deal with trouble at home, and problems at school! That early scene where the teacher gave him the spanking in front of the class made me want to do the same to her! where does SHE get off doing that! much less in front of the class! with all the abuse and violence Joe had to suffer, no wonder he started acting out, by stealing. a very entertaining movie!
I try to be VERY sparing with the 10/10 rating, but I was so impressed with this film I just had to give it a 10!
