Insidious (2010)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Iron Man 3 (2013)
Ty was lacking a southern accent, being a boy from Tennessee.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Is Anybody There? (2008)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Iver (2004)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Jumanji (1995)
My opinion: Do not underrate this movie that much. I didn't particularly like it - in fact I almost forgot about it for many years - but the story is simply very, very smart. The idea behind the plot is utter genius. Okay, the actual transformation did not work perfectly, but I insist that it was still a straight accomplishment that had 1. a nice cast, 2. sustainable visual effects and achievements, 3. a great story, 4. both funny and entertaining sequences, that even made you pause and think sometimes, which I regard as a major attainment of any movie.
So - I'll give it a solid 7.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Jurassic World (2015)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Just a Dream (2001)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Kidnapping Mom & Dad (1998)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Kindergarten Cop (1990)
I agree to Jasen's comment. It is not meant to be a realistic movie, it is meant to entertain and to have an original approach to an above average action comedy. The actual transformation was not world-class, but solid and amusing.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10The Leaving of Liverpool (1992)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004)
I'll join the others in stating that the movie is indeed enjoyable. Liam Aiken is very smart. Worth watching out for him. Classic family entertainment with a neat narrative style.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Leo (2002)
The movie itself is a kind of southern gothic drama with a very distinct cinematographic approach. The storyline is made up of two subtly intertwining narrative layers that make the movie as a whole hard to grasp at the first look, but thoroughly convincing as an independent character study at last. Very complex material in terms of plot and narrative style, very gloomy and depressing as well as partly stereotyped in terms of character portrayal and very distinct in terms of pace and cinematography.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Little Big League (1994)
Well, I just love those American movies centering around baseball. Here a kid's dream comes true. Billy Heywood manages the Minnesota Twins! How cool is that, guys? Luke Edwards handles this new challenge in a slick and cool-headed manner, which is maybe a bit unrealistic. But hey, that's not the point. The point is that this movie is entertaining and funny, with some nicely staged baseball sequences. I like the way Luke addresses the guys in the fitting room, talking about the spirit of the game and that these guys ought just to have fun with what they do - playing ball.

My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Martian Child (2007)
The story is one of those that combines comedy with real drama - a good combination. There's a bunch of good messages in there, and the interaction between Bobby Coleman and John Cusack is worth watching.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Mercury Rising (1998)
Right, I can just agree to the previous comments. Miko Hughes aced his part with outstanding supremacy, given the demanding character he had to portray. It levels up the movie's quality which would otherwise have been hardly above the average.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Miracle in Lane 2 (2000)
Frankie Muniz does give a very credible performance here. I mean, yeah, the story itself is nothing too special, but Frankie fills the disabled kid's character with smartness and expertise. His acting is fine. Above the average family entertainment.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran (2003)
