Didn't like it that much. A bit too surreal for my taste. Freddie Highmore is a real charmer though.
My Movie Rating: 5 / 10 Sometimes Tim Burton is just a bit too strange for me although I admit he has done some darkly delightful stuff. Johnny Depp is fine in his weird part; I have come to have great respect for him as a screen actor.
And yes, Freddy Highmore is indeed adorable.

9 / 10 A fantastic adaptation of the book. Freddie Highmore was wonderful - he has a very natural talent, and Johnny Depp's performance has just the right amount of lunacy and sinister undertones.
