The Cell (2000)
My Movie Rating:I Cento passi (2000)
I concur with Joseph's comments below. Worth watching for a believable perspective on the Mafia. Lorenzo Randazzo who plays Peppino as a boy is only the first 20 minutes of the film.

Devin was the best thing about this movie. The sort of performance that people take notice of.

My Movie Rating:Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Better than "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" which was IMO rather bland and sappy. Tim Burton's version has more of a sinister edge to it and I enjoyed the 'in' jokes and references to other films. It's a pity Depp didn't do any moon-walking or start singing "Bad". I particularly loved the squirrel scene.
My Movie Rating:Charlie Ve'hetzi (1974)
Le Château de ma mère (1990)
This movie was filmed back to back with My Father's Glory and is set a few months after.
Cheaper by the Dozen (2003)
Unmemorable!
My Movie Rating:Cheaper by the Dozen (1950)
My Movie Rating:Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005)
Not much to recommend here. Steve Martin seems to be playing the same type of character he played in Parenthood and Father of the Bride. Individually, the kids don't get much screen time. Taylor Lautner and Alyson Stoner probably get the most attention. They are involved in a minor romantic 'first love' subplot which was really only used as an excuse for a couple of unoriginal over-protective parent scenes with Martin and Levy.

My Movie Rating:Children of the Damned (1963)
Inferior B-grade sequel to "Village of the Damned". The children don't have any dialogue in the first half of the movie and do little more than stare woodenly and walk stiffly. The only thing this move adds to the original is that we learn (sort of) why the children came here. "We came here to be destroyed" or words to that effect. Wow! Deep and pointless.
