Gave it this rating solely because of Martin Stephens. The movie wasn't that great but those scenes with Martin was OK.
My Movie Rating: 5 / 10Cripes what a creepy chiller, and what amazing cinematography from Freddie Francis. It manages not to be a piece of dated Freudianism: the themes are just as topical now. Martin Stephens is great.
My Movie Rating: 10 / 10Chilling film with a remarkable performance from Martin Stephens, and a script which Truman Capote helps elevate to a unique retelling of this story. It does drag a bit towards the end and more screen time with Stephens would have been nice.

A very eerie atmosphere and sense of dread is woven through the entire movie, with excellent performances by Kerr and Martin Stephens as the cherubic yet unnerving Miles
My Movie Rating: 9 / 10
