8 / 10 Unusual, uneven but fascinating piece.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 7 / 10 7 / 10 7 / 10 An interesting, multi-layered film. Visually impressive and highly satisfying in that regard. The casting of Malkovich is problematic in that he speaks with a very distracting American accent but he is playing the role of a Frenchman. I would have preferred if this film had used German and French dialogue.
