My high ratung went first to Ryan Slater who did extremely well in this movie and secondly to the beautiful countryside of and about Chengdu, China. Other than that I would probably be like the rest of the reviewers and give this movie a low rating.

I think Ryan Slater is a cute kid and the movie is cute but it's not that good. I like the whole save the pandas thing but the movie could have been better. It's worth watching to see Ryan and to check it out once but once was all I could handle. I really don't think I'd want to see it again.

I think director of this movie is terrible bcause I think boy sound like he is reading words from a book sometimes. Worst part is when got leeches it is copy scene of "Stand by Me" and when boy hide behind a bush he tell girl he is a ladies man. When he say these words it sound so fake like he is reading book. I think many part of film is that way.

It got many good pictures of forest and waterfall and koala bear is very cute.

Oh I remember when boy is supposd to be sliding down river and it show him fall into deep water . It is so stupid in that scene bcause any body can see it is not a boy but a big grownup who do the big fall in the water. Just bcause he put on same kind of clothes dont make him look like boy. I think It better not to show something in film if going to make it look very fake.

Leeches? Where might we have seen that before?

Saving a panda..... a good premise to a story, but some of the lines spoken by Ryan in this film, (poor scriptwriting or something), are horrendous.
