I was worried this was veering into cliche "psycho kid" film territory toward the middle, but it redeems itself by the end.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 This film from the prolific and successful director Susanne Bier is very well done but quite...slick. Everything falls pat.

10 / 10 I completely agree with everyone. But it did occur to me that the ending left 2 dangerous characters not dealt with. Honestly though, I'm very glad that they weren't!
My Movie Rating: 9 / 10 Extremely good performances by both boys; I was completely absorbed and on edge for much of the movie. It could have delved more into their relationship... so I was a little disappointed to learn it's not from a book so I can't really get to know them better.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 A beautifully made film but somewhat predictable outcomes. I would have preferred the African subplot to have been much less in order to allow more time to explore the relationship and background of the two boys, giving us a greater insight into their characters. Very good performances by all.

A movie that teaches us how to fight a bully, and then they see Christian's dad being bullied. Both of the boys were great in this film; however, I have a preference toward Elias played by Markus Rygaard. Elias appeared as an easy-going type, cool and all that.
