9 / 10 6 / 10 9 / 10 This film was recently shown on BBC TV. While the photography is good the acting is best described as 'over the top' by the adult actors. Danny Lloyd is great in his part but I don't think he knew much about what was going on.

Stanley Kubrick and Shelley Duvall didn't get along well on set either.

10 / 10 I love Jack Nicholson's performance, he was very convincing! I used to have the DVD, in the Special Features, Jack somewhat indicated that he wasn't to happy working with Duvall, she complained way to much! in the dream scene where Danny sees the elevator open, and blood spills out onto the floor! it's Cranberry juice! about a thousand gallons! I love this movie, it's one of my favs, and not just because Danny Lloyd is in it, I just like it overall!

10 / 10 10 / 10 7 / 10 5 / 10 I liked this movie. It was pretty creepy and Danny Lloyd was pretty good but I wouldn't say he was great. The movie is classic and I'm sure everyone has either seen or heard of it but out of all of the horror movies I've seen this isn't really one of my favorites. I liked it but I've seen better.
