Lovely film with nice actors.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 6 / 10 This was a charming French film with lots of cute young French boys parading around in their shorts. It reminded me of the type of children's films they made in the fifties ... very pretty and nice.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 It seems that most everyone rates this film highly, and although the story is good, the acting was not exceptional by any means. Perhaps because it was highly touted as being a future classic in children's cinema, being based on the great Goscinny series from the middle of 50's.... this held the film to higher expectations.
Le Petit Nicolas is not a bad film, but aside from the appealing little tyke in the lead role, the film seemed short and not believable from the most of the children's roles.
