6 / 10 Mediocre but worth seeing for Jake T. Austin.
My Movie Rating: 5 / 10 8 / 10 Cute dogs but there is little attempt at realism. The gadgets the boy creates are absurdly improbable, the dialogue is way too safe and bland and the story's resolution is much too sugary and unbelievable.
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10 7 / 10 okay You combine a boy and cute dogs in a movie and I am most likely going to like it. Jake does a good job in this. my only minor complaint is with the exception of the basic plot they did not follow the book at all.
