I have often wondered if this movie and Jack Frost were made by the same movie company, because they were made the same year, 1986, if so, they probably filmed key scenes for each movie, similtainously(all the scenes that JC and Keaton were in frame together)! I think I'll do some research!

only a 8/10 for this one, JC only had a little screen time.

Plenty of action, in fact rather too much as the hospital is all but destroyed as homicidal Michael Keaton goes on the rampage. Joseph Cross plays his somewhat short part well as the little boy desperately in need of a bone marrow transplant. The whole thing is over the top but enjoyable all the same.

Yeah, it's the emotional father-son aspect that carries much of the story's quality. I remember that a) the action was okay, b) the storyline was clearly presented, c) the acting was also okay, d) the outcome was somehow predictable, but the pace and the suspense makes me connive some apparant flaws. Joseph Cross did play a substantial part in terms of his illness propelling all the other events, but as an actor and concerning his importance on screen his character lacked some sort of real depth. The emphasis was clearly on the thriller-aspect, less on the drama-aspect.
