Somewhat altered from the book and not as good but still solid.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 8 / 10 The setting of this movie is a farm, several miles up river from Tahlequah, Okla. in the 1930's I read this book years ago, I loved it so much, I read several more times! I'm convinced the story is based on Author Wilson Rawls childhood! a great movie for the whole family! It gives a look into what farm life was like in rural Oklahoma in the early 20th century!
