If you like Eli Wood, you'll love this movie! especially the scenes where he's soaked to the bone!

This was my favorite version of the Huck Finn movies. Elijah Wood was the best Huck Finn ever. The movie was totally awsome.

As much as I like Elijah Wood, he's too young for the role. And of course this is a Disney film, so much of the satire has lost it's edge. My favorite thing about the book is not so much the story, but how the story is told, in Huck's voice and language, yet still filled with beautiful descriptions. And I love the more subtle, gradual growth of Huck's character in the novel. Unfortunately, this is all lost in the film. But if you take it as just a simple boy's adventure, it's still entertaining.

Yeah, Elijah Wood as Huck Finn? Basically a perfect cast, but here he's a bit too immature for the part. Huck Finn is supposed to be about 14 years old in Mark Twain's novel, and a real rascal. Elijah has a too innocent and literal blue-eyed appearance in this case. Still, the story is nice, adapted for children. I would say, as Elijah hardly ever does anything bad, that the movie is okay, even above the average.
