'It' is unusual in that it features several boy actors in a horror movie with some quite scary moments. I can only give it six as the ending was a complete cop out.

The only book that really scared me. There are two scenes in the book that are worth reading as they can never be put on screen. I enjoyed the movie too.

I must say! Tim Curry scared the bajeezees out of me! I had nightmares about that demented clown! and I was in my late 20's when I first saw it. The boys do well in the movie, especially Brandis and Faraizl! If you like thrillers with boys in them, this the movie is for you!

Anyone that thinks clown's aren't scary definitely needs to see this movie. Tim curry does an excellent job playing the psycho-demon clown. I love Stephen King as a writer, but his novels never quite hit the mark when brought to the screen (big or small). The most interesting parts of this movie are the childhood flashbacks, and the most disappointing part of the movie is the ending. Definitely not a "Must Watch" movie, but still mildly entertaining.

Okay, the movie is not a masterpiece. Still, it was the first movie that touched something very deep inside of me and the first movie ever that put tears into my eyes. I was 14 when I saw it for the first time, and yeah, it somehow changed my life. It really did. Watching it today, seven years later, makes me aware of how different you watch movies when years go by. I still take this one under my wings, as it has had such an enormous emotional impact on me personally. I wish I had had such friends when I was a kid. Thanks again, Stephen King.
