9 / 10 I really enjoyed this movie, i'm not Italian i'm American and had to read the subtitles the whole time yet i enjoyed every minute of the movie. I also agree that the children acting in this movie was phenomenal. Best movie ever I also love a happy ending perfecto.

8 / 10 6 / 10 A marvellous Italian film with the lead boy, Giuseppe Cristiano, looking every inch your typical Italian boy. He plays Michele who finds the kidnapped son of a rich couple in a deep hole in the countryside. The twist in the tale really brings you up with a jolt and you fear, at first, how this will affect the relationship between the two boys. Filmed in the beautiful Italian landscape of cornfields and expansive blue skies it is a delight to watch. The ending might appear a little too 'Hollywoodish' but that doesn't detract too much from the overall plot.

An extremely great Italian gem. Giuseppe Cristiano did a superb job in his role as Michele. And I also like the performance of Matta Di Pierro playing Filippo the boy in the pit. A great movie, a great scenery and a super great cast. Its another one of those gems I will never get tired of watching.
