Little House on the Prairie (1974-1983)

This show was made back when Holesome family shows were still much appreciated, this show only had a few boys as regular cast members, but had lots of boys guesting. Here's a tidbit: Jonathan Gilbert is the younger Brother of Mellisa Gilbert, but they were both Adopted by the Gilberts, their Sister Sara Gilbert is the Gilberts only Natural Daughter! Michael Landon grew up in a very disfunctional family, his Mother was said to be a nuerotic Narrsisist, that chasstised him at every chance. Michael had a problem with bedwetting well into his teens, her solution for this problem was to hang his wet bed sheets out the front window of his room for ALL to see! Because of Michael's childhood and family life, he was all the more interested in making shows that promoted strong family values, this is why he made this show! This show is AS much a part of Landon's legacy, as it is Laura Ingalls Wilder's!

This show is 1st rate in my book, I watch it ALL the time, it's on 2 or 3 channels on my cable system! 10/10 because it's a very good series

The Loneliest Runner (1976)

Lance was superb in this movie, if memory servs, he was still filming seasons of "James At 15,16" at the time he appear in this movie.

Lance Kerwin and Kurt Cameron both own and operate a bible camp.

As far as I know, the last movie Kerwin apeared in as an actor, was Star Trek, The Wrath Of Kahn, he was 17 or 18.

This movie is based in part on the early life of Michael Landon, who was the Director for the film!

A well acted movie, Dryfuss has always been a fav of mine! Mike was excellent as the younger brother. The movie as a whole was great, I even liked the G-Mother character! It's been a while since I saw the movie, but I'd watch it again anytime!

Madison (2001)

10/10 for Jake! I love him in this movie, he is SO cute! he has a fair amount of screen time. I' m a sucker for boys in Polo T's, and he wears one in a few scenes. I can also relate to his character in the scenes where he was bullied by McMain's Character, thats just the kind of bullying I endured in school. To make a correction to the synopsis, Jim McCormick had been a Speed boat driver in is earlier years, but had a crash in a race, and almost didn't survive, then gave up driving an became the head mechanic. The Hydro-Plane boat was actually owned by the town of Madison, Indiana, ie. "The Miss Madison" Jim McCormick stepped up as the driver only after the the town lost their last driver, and was in danger of not being in the race. I'm sure you've gathered by now, that this movie is based on a true story, it's about Jim McCormick and the town the of Madison, Indiana! That's all I'm going to say about the movie because I don't want to reveal too much, It's well worth a look, if for nothing else, for the adorable Jake Lloyd, for the grown-up actors, Jim Caveasel was outstanding.

The Man from Left Field (1993)

Lots of eye candy! :) Burt was memorable! I honestly started watching this movie dredfully expecting it to be JUST another cheap version of my beloved Bad News Bears! but, to my surprise it wasn't, and it was very enjoyable! My 2 favorite boys in the movie was the boy in the red tanktop, and the boy on the bike, they were all watchable!

9/10 goes as much to the boys as a group, as to Burt for his performance, particularly the MTM rivival scene, and the dream scene where Reba is trying comfort him.

Over all, a really good movie. but not a MUST see, sorry to say!

Man of the House (1995)

The only part of this movie I didn't like, was the fact that it was filmed in Vancouver B.C., but the setting was Seattle Wa. U.S.A. When I know a movie director substitutes one city for another, it completely ruines the movie for me!

I gave the movie an 8/10 because I love JTT and thought he did good, and I like Chevy Chase, he's a great comedian!

The Man Without a Face (1993)

Gibson works very well with kids, He's the Father of a large family, 12 or 15, I think! I first saw Nick in the tv movie, "Woman With a Past" and have followed his career ever since. for this movie he gets the 9/10 because he's the central character. Mel gets a 10/10 because for me, it goes without saying, Mel is the best! he just doesn't make a bad movie in my book!
