The Cold Lands (2013)
My Movie Rating:

El Color de las nubes (1997)
Would have been much better if there were not so much back-story given by narration.
My Movie Rating:

The Conrad Boys (2006)
High marks for a first film. I liked it. Booboo is adorable.

A Cool, Dry Place (1998)
Bobby Moat is cute and charming as all get out and his performance makes this a pretty decent movie for me. This movie made me notice a practice that has become very popular and often annoying in US films, that of playing some folk-songy, ballady plaint over non-dialog scenes. Here, that type of thing really annoyed me by obscuring the sounds of the little boy's laughter in a 'playing outdoors' scene.
My Movie Rating:

La corsa dell'innocente (1992)
Some grisly murder scenes, some simplistically villainous bad guys--these elements put me off. But I was definitely not bored. There is a core of beauty to this film centered in the perceptions and in the heart of the boy, who is a total angel in looks. Beautifully photographed.

The Cowboys (1972)
My Movie Rating:

Crazy Love (1987)
Um, yeah, very well titled. My vote goes to the first 1/4 of the movie also.
My Movie Rating:

CrissCross (1992)
My Movie Rating:

Crónica de un niño solo (1965)
My Movie Rating:

Cubbyhouse (2001)
This is a very poor example of a VERY tired genre. I ended up skipping through to the kids scenes. I would label it a 'Don't Bother' except that Joshua is worth watching.
My Movie Rating:

Cujo (1983)
My Movie Rating:

The Cure (1995)
A really beautiful film.

D.A.R.Y.L. (1985)
must have been asleep when I rated this one the first time.
My Movie Rating:

Damien: Omen II (1978)

Dante's Peak (1997)

Dare mo shiranai (2004)
"Emotionally gripping and a keen sense of truth."
And now I own the DVD and watched it a second time. It is more quietly powerful and intimate and moving than that hasty comment above conveys. I love it. As the film was made chronologically over a year, we see Yuya enter the first stages of puberty toward the end of the film. His voice cracks and deepens and his sister teases him about it:"Your voice sounds so weird." Seeing this talented and immensely appealing boy actor enter the very earliest stages of manhood before your eyes had a sweetness about it that I cannot express.

Dark Skies (2013)
My Movie Rating:

Darkness (2002)
I don't know who to shoot first: The director, film editor, or the lead adult actors.
Stephan Enquist, however, is lovely and gives a good performance in spite of a retarded director.
My Movie Rating:

David Copperfield (1935)
I watched this again after several years and I was appalled by the whiny performance of Bartholomew, the simpering mother and the treacly script in general. It felt as if the director were trying to do a parody of Dickens. But thank heaven for the presence of W.C. Fields and Edna May Oliver.
My Movie Rating:

The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
Billy Gray and I were the same age when I saw the film. My buddy :) I was spellbound then and am still impressed by the movie. Probably the first intelligent sci-fi film. Drew Pearson, a famous newscaster of the time, reads the news on TV wearing his hat! Seemed ok at the time, is hilarious now :)
