The Littlest Angel (1969)

One of those films with just about plausible props but easily forgettable song numbers. However, a cute performance from Johnny Whitaker in his natty shepherd outfit.

Midnight Special (2015)

I saw this film on television and didn't think much of it. Jaeden's actual acting requirement was minimal and not very demanding. There was no back story as to who he actually was and how he got from one dimension to another, just lots of violence.

Santa Who? (2000)

Not one of the best Christmas films even with cute Max Morrow in it. Even Santa's elves didin't come across as particularly Christmassy and even somewhat bullying.

The Mystical Adventures of Billy Owens (2008)

Oh dear. How not to make a kiddy film is all here in this Canadian production. The whole thing is directed and, to a certain extent, acted amateurishly and makes you appreciate boy films done by a competent director. While the acting is passable, the film scenes are disjointed and the viewer isn't always able to follow who all the characters are. The special effects are mostly laughable.

I give it 3 stars but that's only because cute Dalton Mugridge is in it. This is a boy film to avoid.

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D (2011)

Dire! This attempt to introduce a new boy and girl into the roles of Spy Kids falls flat on its face. The jokes are plain awful and it isn't even as good as 'Spy Kids 3' which also relied far too much on special effects. Mason Cook was cute and played his part well but overall this film is one of the worst boy films I have ever seen.
