Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
Okay, I have to state that I have never been a fan of this "Episode I, II, III"-hype. I for my part stick to the original three movies, which will always be Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi, and not episode IV,V,VI or whatever.
This one here is nothing special to my mind. It has not much more than exaggerated special effects and an overuse of visual input. Jake Lloyd though, he was very good and aced his role.
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10Stepmom (1998)
This movie has a very sincere message and tells the story of how a family deals with a deadly illness. The two main female characters deliver outstanding performances. Watch out for this one if you like emotional and touching family stories with a deeper meaning to life and love. Liam is very good in here too.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10Stepsister from Planet Weird (2000)
I saw this movie quite some time ago. It was not very sophisticated. Even the acting was nothing but average. Myles Jeffrey is good though.
My Movie Rating: 4 / 10Storm Boy (1976)
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Stuart Little (1999)
I also didn't like this one, mainly due to the weird story which was somehow hard to digest in the first place. It wasn't even as funny as I expected.
My Movie Rating: 4 / 10The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2005-2008)
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10Summer's End (1999)
Important story, good movie.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Super 8 (2011)
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10Taming Andrew (2000)
Seth Adkins is wonderful in here. His acting makes this TV movie better than ordinary ones. He shows how good he is and how genuinely he can handle demanding roles, as he did in First Do No Harm. Good job, Seth!
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Tarzan (1966-1969)
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10Tempelriddernes Skat (2006)
Okay, nothing great, but decent enough.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)
Best movie ever in terms of a combination between first class action, special/visual effects and thrilling suspense on the one hand, and a sophisticated, emotionally stirring and huge storyline that stuns anyone on the other hand. Furlong is great as John Connor. The whole movie is just a de-luxe masterpiece of movie history.
My Movie Rating: 10 / 10The Testimony of Taliesin Jones (2000)
I can't help it, but I found this one boring. The acting is not too good, the visuals are pathetic and the theme is lamely elaborated.
My Movie Rating: 3 / 10That's What I Am (2011)
A very important, uplifting, intelligent movie. Highly recommended. Chase is top-notch.
My Movie Rating: 9 / 10Things I Don't Remember (2011)
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10The Three Investigators and the Secret of Terror Castle (2009)
Nice sequel.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10Three Wishes (1995)
A generally underrated movie. It has a superb cast (Swayze, Mastrantonio, Mazzello), pervasive acting and an inspriring story. Both boys do a convincing job. Especially the interaction between Mazzello and Swayze is sincere and quite emotional. The message of faith, love and endurance mingled with magic and the emotional quest to recognition and affection make this movie worth watching.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10Time Bandits (1981)
I liked the story, despite its unreal and sometimes peculiar events. The underlying idea is really smart and has some appeal, the actual transformation was improvable though. I liked the changing settings and the emphasis on imagination and fantasy. Sean Connery's appearance was an interesting feature that leveled the story up to a certain extent. The ending is good, the images are basically nice and apt. Not one of my favorites though.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)
Yeah, I agree. Phillip Alford did a fine job in here. Gregory Peck gives an outstanding performance, maybe his best ever. The story is pervasive and has lots of very important themes in it. Great classic, definitely one of those movies one has to see.
My Movie Rating: 10 / 10Toast (2010)
Very enjoyable. Watch out for the early scenes between the boy and the gardener.
