Synopsis
Autobiographical film set mainly in a bleak boys' home in 1960's Hungary. After his father abandons him, Aron, a young Hungarian boy is sent to a harshly run orphanage where discipline is cruel and conditions are cold and unwelcoming. Despite the cruelty he finds solace in a special relationship with a young classmate Attila. And that sexual awakening gives him the courage to lead his peers in revolt.
