Synopsis

Eva has to raise her twins Peter and Paul alone. Singer Mitja Burganoff is passing through town with his choir and falls in love with Eva. When she is in the hospital after an accident, Peter takes advantage of his mother being bedridden and goes in search of the long-missing father. He learns his father has died and finds his uncle Karl. Recovered, Eva picks up her son and drives with the twins to the Black Forest. Both Mitja and Karl head to the Black Forest soon afterwards with the intention of marrying Eva.
