Synopsis
Pünktchen and Anton are close friends. Pünktchen is the daughter of a wealthy surgeon, she lives in a fine house. Her mother travels the world and is rarely at home. Anton has to work because his mother is ill.Pünktchen helps Anton raise money by singing in public. Trouble arises when Anton steals a gold lighter and Pünktchen's secret life is discovered by her parents.

Perhaps not Erich Kästner's most exciting story, the film is still a delightful opportunity for a lively young Max Felder to show his acting ability. He keeps our sympathy even when he gives way to temptation and his subsequent remorse is completely convincing. A talent to watch out for.
