Synopsis
When Marseille prostitute Marie visits her 12-year-old son Simon (Pierre-Michel Beck) - whom she hasn't seen for a long time and whose care she entrusted to Gilles, a shepherd of the Proven?al countryside - she judges that she is now able to take care of him herself and so brings him back with her. But it is not long before Simon resents having to share his mother with her clients; and things are made worse when Marie falls in love with Paul, a loutish and violent individual.
