Synopsis
A young boy acquires a torch with an unusual property: whenever it is pointed at someone who has just told a lie, the person begins to float above the ground. The bigger the lie, the higher the person hovers!

- This film was shot on location in Dresden and Moritzburg in 1965, but was banned in 1966 before its completion, due to its poking gentle fun at the petty mendacity of officials and party bosses. The movie thus became a so-called 'Kellerfilme' (a film that remained unreleased due to DDR state censorship). At the close of the DDR, work began on reconstructing the film, with missing sounds and images replaced by script inserts, and the movie finally had its premiere on October 18, 1990 at the Babylon cinema in Berlin.
