Synopsis
A group of five Venetian kids, comprising four siblings - Marta, Adi, Malcolm, and Gianni - and their friend Valerio, have a knack of getting into trouble, but realise that, being children, they are stronger as a unit. So they swear loyalty and fidelity to each other on 'the stone of Marco Polo', a fragment of transparent blue glass kept by Valerio's grandfather, 'The Captain'.

- The theme tune of this show (also titled "La pietra di Marco Polo") was written by Italian musician and composer Pino Donaggio (b. 1941), and is sung by Nicola Di Pol, who plays Adi, the youngest of the group, in the series.
- A German (Region 2) DVD box set of the series, under the title "Der Stein des Marco Polo", is available from Amazon Germany. This set has Italian and German audio options only, and no subtitles.
