Synopsis
Lady Sylvia Marsh (a rather stunning performance by Amanda Donohoe) lures virgins to her mansion to make human sacrifices to the snake god whose worship was displaced by Christianity nearly two thousand years previously. After dispatching boy scout Kevin (Chris Pitt), Sylvia begins to take an interest in the equally virginal Eve. Can young archaeologist Angus Flint (Peter Capaldi) and Lord of the Manor James D'Ampton (Hugh Grant) defeat the White Worm and its serpentine acolyte before the god claims fresh victims?
