Synopsis
A man and a boy are in the middle of a desert that used to be the bottom of the largest river in the world. Together, they start a search for the last drop of water. Their exploration launches a breathtaking play of lines, structures and dynamics. "O" is a lyrical film about the return to purity, pure emotions and sincere wonder, and above all an ode to natural beauty.
Notes
- This short film (a little over 23 minutes in length) is the debut movie of Belgian filmmaker Pieter-Jan De Pue (b. 1982). His next film would be his feature length movie The Land of the Enlightened (2016).
- Selected at numerous international festivals, "O" received the 3rd prize at the 'United Nations Environmental Awards' in Alm?ria as well as special mentions at the ?Grote Ongeduld' (Brussels) and 'Sleepwalkers' (Tallinn) festivals.
