Synopsis

- This film was the sequel to the short film Avant que de tout perdre (2013) by the same director, Xavier Legrand.
- For this, his debut feature-length film, director Xavier Legrand won the Silver Lion Best Director award at the 74th Venice International Film Festival (2017).
- This film was the recipient of numerous awards. In addition, for his role in this film, Thomas Gioria won the Jury Prize for Best Actor at the 2018 RiverRun International Film Festival.

8 / 10 8 / 10 Tension coolly observed from the middle distance. A continuation of the short film Just Before Losing Everything by the same director, Xavier Legrand, who appeared in Au revoir les enfants as a child. Lacks some of the subtlety of Menashe, but Thomas Gioria's performance is outstanding.
