Synopsis
Two teenage friends embark on a road trip across France after building a small house on wheels.
Notes
- In one scene of this movie, Th?o urges Daniel to enter a drawing contest for kids, even though he's overage, since he looks much younger with his "gueule d'ange d'argent" ("silver angel face" - the phrase "gueule d'ange", literally "angel mouth", is used in France in a similar way to "baby face" or "pretty boy" in English). The remark is a rather witty joke on the part of director and screenwriter Michel Gondry, given that Daniel is played by young actor-model Ange Dargent!

8 / 10 8 / 10 This is an all-around well-made film with great performances from the actors, especially Dargent. It skillfully covers a lot of the emotional ground of adolescence while still offering a fresh perspective. There are some loose ends left when the credits roll, which may disappoint some.
