Synopsis
Tom Grattan (Michael Howe), a 15-year-old boy from London, is sent to live with relations on a farm in Yorkshire for the duration of the Great War. While living on the farm he has various adventures involving German spies, saboteurs, escaped P.O.W.'s, criminals and secret weapons.
Notes
- Comprising two seasons of 13 episodes each, the first season transmitted between July and November 1968, and the second transmitted between April and July 1970
- The series was filmed entirely on location in rural Yorkshire, making use of various rundown and abandoned castles, quarries and factories.
