Synopsis
Ali, an ice cream salesman in Mugla in south-western Turkey, tours the neighbourhoods and villages with his brand new yellow ice cream motorbike. When the naughty boys of the town, sweltering in the heat, steal his motorbike whilst Ali leaves it unattended, and gorge themselves on the ice cream, Ali is convinced that the big ice cream manufacturers have planned the theft in order to ruin him, and becomes increasingly desperate in his search for the culprits...
Notes
- Turan ?zdemir was the movie's sole professional actor. The rest of the cast, including all the boys, were actual residents of Mugla.
- Winner of the following awards: Best Comedy Film and Best Comedy Director (Y?ksel Aksu) at the 2006 Queens Film Festival, the Special Jury Prize at the 2006 Istanbul International Film Festival, and the Special Jury Award and the award for Most Promising Director at the 2007 Ankara International Film Festival.
