Synopsis
Robinson Crusoe (Hugo Stiglitz) is shipwrecked on a desert island, but manages to survive for many years, during which time, amongst other adventures, he captures and tames a tiger. His deepest wish, however, is for some human company, and his prayers are finally answered when one day he rescues a pint-sized Friday (Ahui Camacho) from becoming a light snack for a bunch of cannibals!
Notes
- Based on the 1719 novel of the same name by Daniel Defoe
- Hugo Stiglitz and Ahui Camacho reprised their roles as Crusoe and Friday respectively in the 1973 sequel to this movie, Robinson y Viernes en la isla encantada (1973).
