Synopsis
A spoof comedy which parodied the disaster movies of the 1970s. When the crew of a jet are incapacitated due to food poisoning, a rogue pilot with a drinking problem must cooperate with his ex-girlfriend turned stewardess to bring the plane to a safe landing.
Notes
- A movie which since its release has enjoyed continuing and virtually universal critical acclaim, in 2010 the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
