8 / 10 It's actually been a while since I've seen any of CJ's work! I watched this movie for only one reason, CJ Adams! So he and he alone gets all of the 7/10 rating! CJ,(just like Asa Butterfield) has a way of charming me! this movie is another one were I'll have to see it a few times to get full depth of the storyline, because I was SO focused on CJ, I couldn't follow much the plot! If you want to see this movie just to see CJ Adams, it's well worth the time.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 CJ Adams is great! The film was made for children under ten, so the plot is very simplistic. CJ Adams and Erin Pitt are great and the animals will appeal to the younger crowd.
If the realism and harshness would have been ramped up and the plot re-worked a bit, it would have been a spectacular film.
But it is what it is.
