Synopsis
A fourteen year old bed wetter runs home from school every day to retrieve the wet sheet his mother has hung from his bedroom window to punish him. He races to get there before any of his friends pass the house. This enforced training prepares him to become a competitive runner.

Lance Kerwin's mother in this film is a complete ogress. She's right about one thing though: her husband really should 'man up' - not by disciplining his son but by asserting a bit of authority over his wife! Lance Kerwin gives a sensitive and moving performance in this excellent film.

My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 Lance was superb in this movie, if memory servs, he was still filming seasons of "James At 15,16" at the time he appear in this movie.
Lance Kerwin and Kurt Cameron both own and operate a bible camp.
As far as I know, the last movie Kerwin apeared in as an actor, was Star Trek, The Wrath Of Kahn, he was 17 or 18.
This movie is based in part on the early life of Michael Landon, who was the Director for the film!

Some laughably gee-whiz dialogue and unconvincing Olympics bookends ultimately can't detract from the core story. It's based on Michael Landon's own childhood experiences and has the ring of truth to it. The three central performances are all good.
