Synopsis
This film covers the final trial of assassin Bryon De La Beckwith who murdered 1960s civil rights leader Medgar Evers. It begins with the murder and the events surrounding the two initial trials which ended in a hung jury. The movie then covers District Attorney, Bobby DeLaughters alliance with Myrlie Evers, wife of Medgar Evers, who finally bring Beckwith to trial for the third time 30 years later.

5 / 10 Determinedly middle-of-the-road treatment. See Mudbound and the 1934 version of Imitation of Life instead.
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10 A powerful movie, but unfortunetly the boys in it were not much more that scenery.
My Movie Rating: 6 / 10 A very important trial with an outcome that was understandably predictable, but yet it brought tears to my eyes. No significant input by any boy actor. That is the only blemish to this picture.
