Points for the music, but this is deeply anachronistic in that it imposes modern-day values of individualism and free choice upon a bunch of seventeenth-century German Lutherans. The actor playing Bach looks and behaves like a soap opera hero. Mr Bach Comes to Call, from the Classical Kids audio recording series, is pretty good; shame that wasn't made into a film instead. Beethoven Lives Upstairs from the same series is also a film, though, and I'll recommend that over this any day.
