Synopsis
The film tells the story of a highly-gifted boy whose parents have demanding and ambitious plans for him - they want him to become a pianist. However, one day the boy, Vitus, is no longer willing to comply with his parents' plans and ambitions because he wants to follow his own star.

8 / 10 Yes gifted children do like to live a normal life without their parents becoming overprotective of them. Such is the case here, with his grandfather allowing Vitus that right. This is a great movie and although I'm not really that fond of classical music on the piano, Vitus changed all that. Incidentally Teo Gheorghiu is himself a gifted child pianist having already won numerous awards in his young life, and this being his first time as an actor he did great.
