Synopsis
Rebecca, a 60-ish woman (Blythe Danner) long ago married into a strange dysfunctional family. She is wondering whether her life would have been better if she had chosen a different suitor. One subplot... Her step-daughter marries a widower who has a son, Peter (about 12, played by Thomas Curtis). The step-daughter and the widower are shallow and self-centered. So Rebecca and Peter end up forging a relationship of their own.
